History
In December 1999 a business was founded under the name Tierverkehrsdatenbank AG (Animal Traffic Database Ltd). At the start the company, together with csc-Switzerland as its IT-partner, built up a national database for animal traffic.
During the last few years, the Tierverkehrsdatenbank AG was able to create and run database-supported solutions for businesses in the meat trade, label organisations and beef breeding organisations.
Since the importance of civil law organisations has steadily grown, the managerial board of the Tierverkehrsdatenbank AG decided to change the company's name to Identitas Ltd, effective 1st January 2006.
In recent years the company has grown steadily and at the time of adopting its new name Identitas Ltd employs 45 co-workers.
